 Annual Show

Dance is shared through performance and participation, and Rince Na Saor's annual show has both!   In June, at the end of of each program year, we host a "Ceili Mor" (kay-lee more); a "ceili" is an Irish dance party, while "mor" means "great" or "large".  Our ceili is a combination performance and dance party consisting of student performances and dancing with audience members, who are invited to join us for simple Irish social dances.  The program contains information about the dances you will see and the music used, along with a special section on Irish dance history.  It's our goal to give every guest at our ceili the opportunity to watch Irish dancing, learn something new about Irish dancing, and participate in Irish dancing!

Costumes:  Rince Na Saor students wear non-traditional costumes similar to those worn in Riverdance which are much less expensive than traditional costumes.  (See an example on the Meet Kathy page.)
